

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Ken Miller, who left us peacefully at the age of 72 on October 23, 2025, aboard his beloved sail boat, the Mariposa. Ken was a vibrant soul whose life was a beautiful melody, filled with music, love, and a passion for history.
Born with an innate love for music, Ken spent countless hours playing his fiddle and banjo, sharing his tunes with family and friends. His melodies brought joy to many, and his talent was a testament to his creative spirit. Alongside music, Ken had a profound appreciation for history, often regaling those around him with fascinating stories and insights from the past.
Professionally, Ken was a dedicated chimney sweep, a trade he embraced with pride. His work ethic earned him the respect and admiration of his clients and colleagues alike.
Above all, Ken cherished his role as a grandfather and is survived by his loving wife, Dale, his three daughters, Kate, Emily, and Arianne, and his seven grandchildren. He poured his heart into his family, creating lasting memories through laughter, adventure, and love. His legacy will live on in their hearts, as he imparted wisdom and kindness that will guide them throughout their lives.
Ken is also survived by his loving family, who will miss his infectious laughter, warmth, and unwavering support. A celebration of his life will be held at Sorce Funeral Home in West Nyack NY Viewing on Monday 10/27 3-8pm
Service on Tuesday 10/28 9-10:30 Burial to follow at Airmont Lutheran Cemetery.
